Snow Goose Festival
Watch our snow goose festival videos: The Snow Goose Festival celebrates the arrival of thousands of Lesser Snow Geese in the fields and waters between Delta and Clear Lake Management Area. The annual festival is held in February (February 24 & 25, 2012). Activities include free waterfowl workshops, a 10K race, a photography contest, and a quilt show. Experience the incredible sight as the geese return to Gunnison Bend Reservoir, west of Delta, after feeding in nearby fields. Bird lovers can bring their own binoculars or view the sight through spotting scopes set up by wildlife officials.
